Blizzard 2010

I have never seen this much snow. Our official measurement for our yard was 25". Once we shoveled the driveway and sidewalk we had piles well over 5 feet. The first time we shoveled it was at 18" and three hours later we shoveled another 7". I just found out our cul-de-sac is the worst. We cannot get out of our driveway yet because our road has not been plowed since early Saturday morning. We are unsure of when we will be able to get out and about. Our neighbors at the end of our street have been driving around, it is impossible for us to do that yet. The joys of living in cul-de-sac.

Everything appeared to have a hat.

It was such a pretty sight until you had to shovel it.

Our street. Those large mounds are cars. This is after the plow had made two runs Friday evening and early Saturday morning.

George after the first shoveling.

We did have a lot of fun yesterday after we shoveled with building forts, snowball fights and sledding. It has been a wonderful experience and will provide great memories in the years to come.

King of the mountian.
