Jakob and I made a trip to Wichita on the 27th of June. George followed and arrived the 1st of July. We had lots of fun and visited with a lot of my family. Several of whom were in town for my mom's wedding. A few highlights:
Jakob and I went with my mom to Botanica and saw a butterfly house and lots of flowers. Jakob is beginning to know some of the flower/plant names and shows a lot of interest in gardening. We also saw small, medium and GIGANTIC carp in the ponds at Botanica.
We went to Tanganyika Wildlife Park and saw baby snow leapords and Jakob and George rode a camel. (We forgot the camera though, you'll have to trust me it was a funny sight)
Jakob is now a fish and loved swimming in the pool. We swam 8 of the 11 days we were in town. He has a tan and his hair is a few shades lighter.
The wedding was simply beautiful and mom and Roger were having a great time at the after party at the pool. I talked to several friends and family I had not seen in years (some more than 10 years) and caught up with a few of the cousins. George and Jakob swam.
We also visited my dad a few days and saw the movie Wall E and went to the Derby water park. Lots of fun.
Thank you to everyone for a great visit. We'll see most of you at Christmas.
